Try this beer infused recipe variation for our popular Illinois Prairie Corn Chowder Mix.
1 package Frontier Soups
Illinois Prairie Corn Chowder Mix
1 12-oz. bottle Pale Ale Beer
3 white potatoes, peeled and diced (Yukon Gold or Bakers)
6 cups chicken broth
2 cups shredded cheddar or other cheese blend
1 cup cream
Heat beer and corn chowder mix over medium high heat in large pot. Bring to full simmer for 5 minutes. Add potatoes and broth, bring back to a simmer and cover for 25 minutes. Stir in cheese and cream. Cover and cook on low 5 minutes and serve.
