I just purchased Jonny’s Favorite Southwestern Stew mix at my new local and beautiful Ace Hardware in Pinehurst NC and made it last night. It was terrific, just what my husband wants in a soup, thick and hearty. I used only a half pound of Hot Italian sausage and the soup was so flavorful. A friend recommended the product to me and I’ll recommend it to all my other friends!
This was so good! I just ordered 15 of your soup mixes to try. I was kind of hestitant at first on this one, because i don't care for canned garbanzo beans (chickpeas). However, this doesn't taste anything like the canned ones. Such good flavor/spices in this mix. I seasoned the chicken with sweet smoked Spanish paprika and a bit of turmeric, then added roasted garlic. I used Ro-Tel tomatoes. This was so good and filling. I will definitely buy it again. Still making my way through the other soups I purchased.
I just ordered more soup, but also just made the chickpea soup, which was excellent. I turned my sister in law on to it, and will keep spreading the word.
I just made your Southwest Chickpea Soup...it was absolutely delicious! Such an easy recipe to follow. I will definitely look into purchasing other flavors. I'm hooked!
